How we earn your trust.

This page explains how we work, so you can judge whether to trust what we publish. It is the standard every article on this site is held to.

We explain SEIS. We never sell it, and we never pretend reading is advice.

SEIS sits in the category the search engines call Your Money or Your Life, where sloppy content does real damage to real decisions.

That is why every claim is sourced, every figure is checked against gov.uk and HMRC, and every article names the person who stands behind it.

Six commitments

Education first

General education, never personal advice, never a recommendation to invest or raise. The boundary lives in our Disclaimer.

Primary sources

We build on gov.uk and HMRC. Every figure comes from one internal source of truth, checked against official guidance.

Fact-checked

Figures are verified before publication, and technical pieces are reviewed by someone qualified. Slower and right beats fast and wrong.

Named authors

Articles carry a named author who is accountable for them. We do not publish under anonymous or invented bylines.

Open corrections

When we get something wrong we fix it promptly and note significant corrections. Spotted one? Tell us.

Independent

No payment to feature or favour anything. If we ever carry sponsorship or affiliate links, they will be labelled and kept apart.

Our voice

We write in plain English, we are honest about risk, and we say when something is uncertain. If we would not say it to a person sitting across from us, we do not publish it.

Corrections

If you spot an error, email hello@seis.investments and we will look at it quickly. Significant corrections are noted on the article so you can see what changed.

Meet the people behind it

Every byline is a real, accountable person with their own beat.
